Overview

Northern parts of Bangladesh are rich with ancient & historical places. This part is famous for old mosques, temples which were build during past Hindu, Buddhist and Islam region. Among them are Paharpur Buddhist Monastery, Mahasthan Gar, earliest known as city Pundranagar, Kantanagar temple, Sona Masjid, Putia temple city etc. are remarkable.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Start early morning by Road from Dhaka for Rajshahi towards Pharepur.

Reach Rajshahi at about noon and drive to Pharpur which is about 125km away and may take 3 hours journey from Rajshai. Visit Paharpur Buddhist Monastry, the largest single Bihar build between 8th to 12th centuries. Back to Rajshahi by the same way and stay the night at Rajshahi Parjatan Motel/Guest House.

Day 2 :
Mango gardens at Chapai Nawabganj about 20km from Rajshahi

After Breakfast visit to Mango gardens at Chapai Nawabganj about 20km from Rajshahi. You can enjoy the afternoon and plucking mangos from the trees & also may buy mangos. Drive back to Rajshasi in the evening. Night stay at Rajshahi at the Motel. (This Option is available in the month of June-July).

Or

You will enjoy sunrise from the river bank Padma (Ganges). After breakfast drive to Putia,at Rajshi the temple city. Visit Hindu temples Shiva and Govinda. After visiting temples you may visit Varendra Museum before leaving Rajshahi. After having lunch at the Motel leave towards bogra to visit Mohasthan gar which is the archeology of 4th century. Night stay at Bogora.

Day 3 :
Dinajpur Kantajewer's Mandir (temple)

After breakfast visit Dinajpur Kantajewer's Mandir (temple),Raj Bari ( old King’s House)which is the famous for it's beautiful design and ornate. Back to Rangpur and night stay.

Day 4 :
Back to Dhaka

By Evening Back to Dhaka. On the way visit some places. (If time covers)
